IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Jordan
Wilson
June 27, 1962 – June 26, 2025
Pamela Jordan Wilson, 62, of Hampton, VA was delivered to Heaven on June 26, 2025, one day before her birthday.
Pam was born on June 27, 1962, in Hampton, VA to Charles and Shirley Jordan. She was a 1980 graduate of Hampton High School where she carried out her dream of being a cheerleader. In 1984, she completed her education as a Licensed Practical Nurse. During her 29 year career, she devoted her time, compassion, and kindness to specialties including long-term care, cardiology, family practice, and school nursing. Her love for others was expressed by the care she gave her patients.
Above all, Pam's greatest joy in her life was her family. She married the love of her life, Garnett, on March 22, 1986, and they went on to share 39 wonderful years together. Their daughter, Leigha, was born in 1993, and was her best friend, nursing confidante, and shopping accomplice. Her grandson, Luca, joined the family in 2021 and was her light and joy. Her happiest moments included Christmas mornings, beach trips and quiet sunny weekends with their animals.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Jordan, and father-in-law Garnett Wilson II. She is survived by her husband, Garnett Wilson III, and their beloved dog Sue'She; daughter, Leigha Conty (Nick); grandson Luca Conty; sister Cindy Hagen (Jim); brother, Chuck Jordan (Penny); mother-in-law, Rachel Wilson; sister-in-law, April Sweat (Walter); nieces, Julie Daniels and Lisa Farrell (Rob); nephews, Chet Jordan, Jason Sweat, Chris Sweat, and Brandon Sweat, Emily Hilleary (Randy), Ryan Farrell (Katie), Kinley Farrell, Jacob Daniels (Deanna & Camryn), Ava Daniels, and Sawyer Daniels. She is also survived by forever friends including the Smith/Jones/Pagans families.
A celebration of life will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
The Wilson family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of the Medical Respiratory ICU at Virginia Commonwealth University for their expertise and compassion.
