Norma Willis Armstrong was born on November 24, 1934 to Earl and Virginia Willis in Morehead City, NC.   She graduated from Hampton High School class of 1952.   She was employed by real estate companies in both Hampton and Virginia Beach. She later worked until retirement with architectural firms.

Norma was a devoted volunteer at The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center where she received a Lifetime Achievement Award after fifteen years of service. She was also a member of the league of The Symphony Orchestra of Virginia Beach (Symphonicity). Norma was a lover of opera and classical music.

She is survived by her son Tracy (Lauren), Richmond VA and her daughter and son- in law Wendy and Mike Wikes, N. Bergen, NJ and eight grandchildren. Also her sister Jeanne Bryant, Newport News, and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Bob Mosby, Virginia Beach.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted Friday , December 23, 2016 at 2:00 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
