Nicholas Kolinchock, age 80, passed away September 1, 2015. Born in Edwardsville, PA, He has been a resident of Hampton for 35 years, where he retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 after 26 years of serving his country. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also retired from working civil service as a computer operator with the US Navy. Nick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed discussing and investing in the stock market. Nick is survived by his wife, Patricia Kolinchock; sister, Catherine Ostrowski and husband Eugene; brother-in-law, John Cunningham and wife Janet; nephews, Jack Ostrowski and wife Jenifer, and Eugene Ostrowski; niece, Christine Osbourne; grandnephew, Jack Ostrowski; grandnieces, Jessica Ostrowski and Courtney Ostrowski. A Memorial Mass for Catholic Christians will be celebrated by Reverend Msgr. Walter C. Barrett at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hampton VA on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA, with full military honors.
