Nell T. Warren has been battling breast cancer (IBC) for over 5 years but sadly the fight ended on the 20th of June.  She was the wife of Laurence A. Warren, DDS and "temporary" office manager for 23 years in their office.  Nell was a great mom to Nikki, Allen, and Ashley and loving grandparent to Grace, Hayden, Merric, Lily, and Robert.

She was born in Charlottesville March 16, 1948 to loving parents, Hunter M Toms and Virginia Coleman Toms and grew up in South Boston, Va. where dad was transferred with VEPCO.

After high school, Nell graduated from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol.  Nell and Larry met while attending ODU in 1968 and married November 1, 1969.  She was the love of my life, best friend, and a great loving nurturing mother.  To say she will be missed lacks the necessary impact of her loss.

Nell was an avid party bridge player for over 25 years with the same clubs in Elizabeth Lakes Hampton.  She looked forward to these weekly outings with her friends.

Nell and I owe much to the care of Dr. John Kessler of Virginia Oncology Associates and his staff allowing us to share some extra quality years together.

Nell requested that her family and friends please pause to remember her each St Patrick's day, the day after her birthday and that of her mother.

The family will receive friends at a reception from 11:00 am-1:00pm on Saturday June 24th at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. Hampton, Va.
