Neal Lineberry Sr., 90, kept his tee time with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. He was born on June 19, 1925, the son of the late Fred and Olive Lineberry of Jonesville, NC. Also preceeded in death by his sisters Lorraine Craft, Virginia Sprinkle and Cornelia Vaughn. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Mary; his children, Neal Lineberry Jr. and his wife, Susan; Charles Lineberry and his wife, Tricia; Jeanne Lineberry and John Lineberry; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Daniel, and a brother, Leonard Lineberry and his wife, Pearl. He was retired as president and owner of Lineberry's Inc. His love of family, golf, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and a docent at the Hampton History Museum kept him busy in his retirement. He was an active member of the Hampton Golf Association, playing regularly with his golfing buddies. The family would like to thank Riverside Hospital and Heartland Hospice for all their support. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Saturday, November 7th from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Woman's Club of Hampton, 171 Columbia Ave., Hampton, VA.
