Obituary

Surrounded by her loving family, Nancy Jean Romonoski, 85, entered into eternal peace on Sept 11, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with various health issues.  An only child, she was born June 2, 1938 to John and Dorothy Miller and raised in a small Pennsylvania coal-mining town.

Nancy was a loving and deeply devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her greatest love was her children and family.  She was a woman of great courage and the rock of the family.

Nancy met and fell in love with her husband, Jerry in Pennsylvania.  They married in 1955 and left PA for a life long journey around the world to many Air Force assignments.  Nancy was an exceptional military wife accepting whatever challenges life threw at her with grace and style.  With each military move, she set up home and helped the family get settled.  She held down the home while Jerry served two tours in Vietnam.

Nancy loved to garden, was a master organizer and loved decorating, especially during the holidays.  She held strong to family traditions.  She modeled what it was to be a Godly woman who served humbly and happily.  Her faith was her priority as was her family.  She taught her children what a parent should be and led by example.  Her life was grounded by family and was a life well lived.   Though her health was failing for years, few would know the extent to which she struggled.  Her love of family and unyielding spirit kept her pushing through the pain.  She would never let you down. She leaves a beautiful legacy of love and strength.

Nancy is predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Jerry.  She is survived by her daughters Debbie Dail (Wayne), Tammy Morgan (Joe), Sandy Dent (Pat) and her son, Gerald Romonoski, Jr.  Also left to cherish her memories are her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and her loving dog, Marley who was of great comfort to her and never left her side.
