NEWPORT NEWS - Nancy Weaver Moore, wife of Wayne Moore, died Wednesday January 13, 2016. Born October 19, 1938 at Shellsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Weaver and Hilda Potts Weaver. Nancy is also survived by her sons, Stephen Weaver of Pennsylvania, Tracy R. Smith and his wife Karen of Pennsylvania, and Jeff W. Smith of Virginia Beach; grandsons, Eric Smith and John Smith and his wife Carlie, all of Shellsburg, PA; great-granddaughter, Nuryiah; and brother, Bud Weaver of Shellsburg. Nancy worked in Washington DC for many years at B.F. Sauls and William Smith CO. She lived in Berlin, Germany 3 ½ years, and traveled all over Europe, Russia, Morocco, North Africa and the Caribbean Islands. She final settled in Virginia. She loved to cook, tend the garden and flowers and spend time at Indian Acres in Thornburg, VA. Nancy loved her horse Ginger, she rode as a young girl and her beloved departed dogs. She plans to meet them at the Rainbow Bridge. The family will receive friends at a later date. Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
