Myrtle "Willie" McBee Moore, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 after a long illness. She married Luther O. McBee of the U. S. Air Force and had two sons; John and James McBee. As a military wife, she was fortunate to travel abroad and settled in Hampton, VA. After the loss of Luther, she found love again, and married Don K. Moore, also a military gentleman who served in the U. S. Navy, and retired from the U. S. Air Force.

She was surrounded by a loving family, sons Jimmy and John McBee, daughter-in-laws Betty and Val, stepdaughter Kola Hardy and husband Joe. Grandchildren Luke, Stephanie, Anne, Scott, and Zachary, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was active in the Moose Lodge, VFW, and Eastern Star. She touched the lives of many people and had many caring friends. Viewing will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 26, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in downtown Hampton, followed by a service at 11:00. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
