Muriel Lee Belcher, 78, died Thursday, February 25, 2021. Born in Atlanta, GA, she had been a longtime Hampton resident where she worked as a home health care companion. Having a strong faith in God, she enjoyed reading her bible. Muriel also enjoyed working in her garden tending her roses and sewing clothes for her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Belcher and a daughter, Kathleen Belcher; survivors include her children, Glenn Salmon and wife, Connie of Gaffney, SC, Teresa Redmiles of Hampton, Valerie Andrews and husband, Scott of Hampton, Donald Belcher and wife, Silvia of Brockton, MA, Steve Belcher and wife, Colleen of Halifax, MA; her sister, Erlene Hall; thirteen grandchildren, James Redmiles, David Redmiles, Faith Redmiles-Petrie, Brianna Petersen, Aden Andrews, Stephanie Bradbury, Whitney Murphy, Kristyn Belcher, Zach Belcher, Jacob Belcher, Daniel Belcher, Matthew Belcher and Kara Belcher. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Jace Bradbury, Waylon Petrie, Jameson Redmiles, Kyleigh Redmiles, Arabella Redmiles, Seraphina Redmiles, Serenity Wenzel, Kaeden Barnes, Harper Murphy, Grant Gibson, Zachary Gibson, and Christopher Gibson.

The family will hold a private memorial service.
