MSg. Carl E. Kohten, U.S. Army Ret., 82, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017.  He retired from the Army at Ft. Monroe after 20 plus years of service to his country.  A service that he was very proud of.
Mr. Kohten is survived by his daughter, Carol Moody; son, Joseph Kohten; sister, GeorgeAnn Kane; and grandchildren, Christopher, Carissa, Joseph and Maranda. A graveside service, with full Military Honors, will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday at Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens.
