Millicent Anne Carney, 100, passed away August 17, 2024. Born December 22, 1923 in Norfolk County she was the daughter of James Arthur Wilkins and Abbye Millicent Wilkins. Anne was a graduate of Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary which became Old Dominion University.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard B. Wilkins; and husband, Stephen B. Carney III.

A special thank you to Home Helpers of Hampton and their staff for their kindness, support and care shown to Anne over the past three years.

A graveside service will be held at Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery in Chesapeake on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at noon.
