Mike "Spike" Sullivan, 54, a native of Hampton, Va. passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Sentara Careplex Hospital.

He is survived by daughter, Morgan Laux and husband, Cole with grandsons, Felix Christopher and Shepherd Michael; son, Matthew Sullivan and fiancée, Sarah Rhodes with daughter, Margot Elise; mother, Sallie Schroeder; brother, William Sullivan and sister, Joanie Perry.

Spike was a graduate of Kecoughtan High School (1989) where he was a standout soccer star. He carried his passion for soccer into adulthood coaching soccer for many years in the area, sharing his knowledge and love for the game with dozens of local kids. Spike's proudest accomplishments are his children and grandchildren with whom he cherished every moment. Spike will be remembered fondly for his loyalty, friendship, and love for his family. His laughter and spirit will be with us always.

A visitation will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home from 11am - 1pm on Friday, July 25, 2025, with a celebration of life to continue at Goody's Bar in downtown.
