Michael Kenneth Godfrey, 42, died Saturday, June 7, 2014. A lifelong Peninsula resident, he liked to fish and enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football. He was a very helpful person and could fix anything. Preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie J. Sain, and two brothers, David L. and Robert R. Godfrey; survivors include his father and step-mother, William D. and Maria B. Godfrey; a step-sister, Jennifer Epps and her husband, Dean; and two step-brothers, Dr. Ricardo Solis and his wife, Kimberly and Eusebio Solis and his wife, Laurie. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton with Pastor Don Phelps officiating.
