Melissa Ann Loar (Kumar), 59, passed away on November 12, 2021.  She leaves behind her life partner Dace C Bazemore Jr., and sons Robert E Bias (38), Justin W Bias (34) and Forrest M Loar (26) and grandchildren Robert Bias Jr, Jacob Bias, Axel Bias, and Luken Bias. She was the daughter of Ethel Loar and Richard L Loar Sr (deceased) and sister to Cynthia Wood, Belinda Krumsiek, Richard Loar Jr., Donna Loar, Diana Loar, Steven Loar, Robert Loar, Tressa Rankin-Loar.

Melissa loved her family and enjoyed helping others in the community and touched many people's lives.   She worked briefly as an RN at James River Convalescent Center. She was sincerely loved and will be whole-heartedly missed by her family and friends heaven gained another angel she is gone but not forgotten.
