Melissa Anne Kochersperger, 40, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Born in Worster, Mass., she had been a Hampton resident since 1991 and was a Kecoughtan High School graduate where she was in the marching band. Melissa loved animals of all kinds, throughout her years having a hedgehog, frogs, lizards, and dogs. She was a phlebotomist and caring and connecting with others came naturally to her, especially older people.

Melissa was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph Samuel Fulton, Jr., her grandparents, Gloria and Tom Fontaine and Shirley and Elmer Wilson, an aunt Michelle Garabedian, and an uncle, Ricky Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Kamryn Kochersperger; her parents, Sharon Wilson and Jerry Wenner and Elmer "Buddy" Wilson and wife, Colleen; her sisters Erin Fazio and husband, Justin and Cardie Wilson; her brother, Matthew Wilson and wife, Meredith; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Weston, Tucker, Aedyn, Rainie, and Dianna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank John Brock for all the care shown to Melissa over the years. He was like a grandfather to her and will always hold a special place in their hearts.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 6 Ross Ct. in Hampton.
