Melinda Ann Trevathan, lovingly known as "Mindy", passed away on May 23, 2022, after a brief but aggressive return of breast cancer. Born in Madison, WI on January 31, 1965, Mindy was the daughter of Mary Peterson and the late Roger Graham. Her life was full of trials and tribulations, but she consistently faced every obstacle with determination and perseverance. She built a full and wonderful life with her husband and their blended family; some of her favorite memories included time on the deck watching her grandkids run around the backyard.

Mindy was a social butterfly and a friend to all of those that met her. There is not a person that she met who did not fall in love with her infectious smile, her warm personality, and her ability to make any person feel like family.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Larry Trevathan, of Hampton, VA, her mother, Mary Peterson (Larry), her son, Brett Wright (Leslie), of Madison, WI, her stepson, Justin Darden, of Manakin-Sabot, her stepdaughter, Kara Horn (Chad), of Charlotte, NC, her stepdaughter, Megan Trevathan, of Charlotte, NC, her daughter, Emily Mitchell (Cory), of Hampton, VA, and her son Billy Potter (Michelle), of Hampton, VA. Mindy also is survived by her grandchildren, James Freund, Seth Mitchell (Cyan), Ella Mitchell, Sydney Mitchell, Xavier Wright, Leonardo Wright, Orion Wright, Caroline Horn, Bella Mitchell, Hayes Potter and Hudson Potter. She is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family both near and far.

The family looks forward to receiving friends at Warwick Assembly of God on Friday June 3, 2022, at 11AM. A celebration of Mindy's life will immediately follow at 12PM. Following the service, Mindy's family will receive visitors for a reception at Mindy and Larry's home.
