Mary A. Plum, 88 of Hampton, VA passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on July 17, 1935, and was the last surviving child to John and Edna Albin of Shepherdstown, WV. Her sisters Emma Jean Hockman and Betty Jane Decker preceded her in 2021 and 2016, respectfully.

She attended Shepherdstown High School and started nursing school. Mary married Frank Plum, Jr on June 16, 1954. They were an Air Force family alternating assignments between Texas, Hawaii, and Virginia. She survived the death of her husband Frank in 1983.

While serving God at the Fox Hill United Methodist Church, she met and married Howard B. Hogge Jr., who was prior Air Force and retired from the Newport News Shipyard, on December 31, 2005. She survived the death of her second husband Howard in 2018.

Mary is survived by her three children, Frank Plum, III, John M. Plum, and Susan M. Landen; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 13, 2024, at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
