Mary Virginia McRae, 92 widow of Augustus E. McRae died Sunday, July 27, 2014. Born in Norfolk, VA she had been a resident of Jacksonville, FL until moving to Hampton in 2008. She had worked at NASA as key punch operator until retiring. Mrs. McRae is survived by her daughter, Frances V. Seely and husband Nelson; son, Roderick D. Lawless III and wife Betty; brother, James T. Smith and wife Arlene; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk by Pastor Ben Dolby.
