Obituary
Mary Hunt, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born on April 19, 1932 to the late James "Jimmy" Turner Davis and Margie Anna "LuLu" Harrison in Rocky Mount, NC. She retired in 1997, after 30 years of Civil Service at Langley Air Force Base 1st Medical Group as a Nurse.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, William Reginald Sanders, She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Robert U. Hunt; children, Jewel S. Jackson (Don), Gerald Sanders (Pete) and James Sanders (Amanda); five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and seven stepchildren.
A Homegoing service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1135 37th St. in Newport News, by Pastor Beverly Ashburn.
