Mary Roberta Hall, 83, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was born on February 6, 1936 to Furman and Annie Calcutt Parker in Florence, South Carolina. Berta, as she was known to many, was a retired public transportation driver and had been a resident of Hampton for more than 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert ("Robbie") McQuillen and Gordon ("Lee") Darrah; brother, Sam Parker; and sister, Winnie Inabinett. Berta is survived by her sons, Furman ("Cleve") McQuillen and Monroe ("Ronnie") Powers; her daughter, Mary Anne Farley; 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and her 4 sisters: Levon Hooper, JoAnn Stocks, Betty Campbell, and Cathy Parker. The family will be gathering in the Mausoleum Chapel of Parklawn Memorial Park at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2019 with the Rev. Camelot Shuff officiating.
