Mary Elizabeth Carlton 50, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mom, Vera Currier; and dad, Jerry Lee Vickers.

Mary is survived by her brother, Michael Lee Vickers and wife Connie; sisters, Teresa Anderson and Ann Britt and husband Jim; step-dad, Robert "Pops" Currier; daughters, Desaray and Tiffany Carlton; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins.

Mary loved art. Her love and passion for family time will forever be a precious memory.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 22, 2021 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday prior to the service from 12-1 pm.
