Mary Kathryn (Kitty) Pipes Barlow, 83, died Sunday, September 1, 2013. Born
to Wilma Beatrice Woodward and Collis Pipes in Lenoir, NC on June 9, 1930,
she had been a Hampton resident for the last 62 years where she was a member
of Buckroe Baptist Church, worked at Old Point Bank and was a homemaker.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Claude Barlow; survivors include
her daughter, Teresa B. Miller and her husband, John Michael Miller; her
brother, Marshall Wayne Pipes and his wife, Jerri Pipes; and two nieces,
Darlene Townsend and Deena Suddreth.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Thursday at R.
Hayden Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Bellvue Cemetery in
Lenoir, NC.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northampton Convalescent Center
for their care and support.
