Martha Alice Borden, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John Borden, her parents, Mac and Agnes McFarling, her brother, Monroe McFarling, and her great-nephew, Joey Hafner.

After retiring from Hampton Social Services as a programmer, Martha enjoyed her time selling her flower arrangements at craft fairs and spending time with those she loved, as long as it was not too cold. Martha loved everything tropical from flamingos to warm summer days.

Martha leaves behind her sister, Sarah Armer (Johnny); her nephew, Michael Kelly Armer (Lori); her nieces, Lisa McFarling and Heather McFarling Morse; her great-nephew Jonathan Armer; two great nieces, Emily Graves and Auburn Morse; as well as all of her grand fur babies.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 25, 2023 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
