Obituary
Martha Lane Bloxom went to be the Lord on December 26, 2015. She was born on November 1, 1920 in Hampton, Virginia. She was predeceased by her parents Fay McMillian Collier and Virginia Taylor Collier, her husband Harry Howe "Abie" Bloxom, and her siblings Jean Cleland, Nancy Wallace, and Fay McMillian Collier, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Toni Herndon (Roger) of Chesapeake, VA, Linda Roberts (Jim) of Hampton, VA, and Deborah Tesch of Cincinnati, OH. Ten grandchildren - Tracy Franklin, Dennis Herndon Jr., Jan Mengenhauser, Patty Mills, Kimberly Buyer, James Roberts, Jr., Michele Sinclair, Jill Teixeira, Shari Stilley, and Melanie Tesch. As well as twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and one on the way and numerous other family and friends. Martha Lane was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Hampton where she was an Elder, a past president of the Presbyterian Women, and an instrumental part of the Master Campaign. She was a very talented woman who loved to cook, sew, crochet, make dolls, garden, golf, and travel. A memorial service will be conducted at First Presbyterian Church in Hampton, VA on December 30th at 11am immediately followed by a reception at the church.
