Marion Lindh Routten, 91, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 after a long illness.  Born in Minneapolis, MN, she had lived in Hampton since 1947 where she was a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Routten worked 4 years Civil Service at Fort Monroe before starting with Hampton City Schools, where she retired after 14 years of service,.  She was a member of Colonial Chapter #40, Order of the Eastern Star and was past president of the Fox Hill Women's Club.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Routten, two sons and their wives, John and Lynda and Larry and Jan; a sister, Carol Bros; one granddaughter, Stephanie and a great-grandson, Lucas.

The family will receive friend from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday in Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church after which a funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Eric J. Vaudt, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
