On May 22nd, Marian Mann at the age of 88, joined her favorite paratrooper and husband Harry. Born in Sanford, North Carolina, she came to Hampton as a newlywed. She was a devoted wife, mother and had been an employee of Maida Development Company for 49 years until retiring. She is survived by daughters Brenda Goodin, husband Jerry, Sharon Forrest, and husband David, five grandchildren, Michele, Stephanie, Chris, Greg and Andrea, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Phoebus United Methodist Church, Mellen Street. The family wishes to express their gratitude to dear friends Dixie and Janice. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a favorite charity.
