Obituary

Marian Manley Antinori, 94, died Friday, December 11, 2015. A native of Cape Charles, VA, she had been a Hampton resident since 1941 where she was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the St. Rose Ladies' Guild. She worked from her home as a bookkeeper for many years and was the bookkeeper for the church. A devoted Cub Scout Den Mother, she also enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting and knitted many baby caps for the nurseries at Hampton General Hospital and Mary Immaculate Hospital for many years.   Preceded in death by her husband, John Dennis Antinori, Sr.; survivors include her children, John Dennis Antinori, Jr. and his wife, Anita, Rebecca Martin and her husband, Lindy, James Edward Antinori, Ronald Lee Antinori and his wife, Donna, Terri Luff, and Mary Lynn Silver; four sisters, Rita Erby, Margie Keller, Jean Christopher, and Edwina Osmond; a brother, Ned Manley; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.   Memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2114 Bay Avenue, Hampton, VA 23661.   Arrangements by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
