Our beloved Margaret Marie Ray passed peacefully on November 23, 2016 in Poquoson, Va at the age of 78, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was well loved and will be missed greatly.  In life, she loved animals (especially dogs and a goose she named George), food, board games, crossword puzzles, and every Sunday night looked forward to watching her favorite show with her daughter Stacey.  The memories she left us with will always be cherished by those she loved.

Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Danel Lilly, daughter Sarah Adams, and son Tracy Edwards, sister and brother-in-law Sylvia and Paul Brown, three grandchildren and spouses, Heather and Brian Sorrell, Christina Lilly, and Holly and Matt Burke.  She had 10 great grand children who loved her dearly.  Margaret is survived by many other family members, including Jenny and Jerry Wilson and children, and niece Alison Mullins.

A viewing will be held from 10-11 am Monday, November 28, 2016 at R Hayden Smith Funeral Home at 245 South Armistead Ave, Hampton, Va 23669.  Interment is scheduled for 1 pm at Parklawn Memorial Park at 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Va 23666.  All are welcome to attend.
