Margaret Sherman Falk, 95, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Chesapeake, VA.  A native of Hampton, VA, she was a graduate of Hampton High School and JMU.  She worked at Langley Field as a secretary until she met her husband Bill. They were married for 65 years. In her younger years, she sang professionally. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church and a long time choir member. She was a devoted mother to her two children and "Mom Falk" to many of their friends. She loved to travel and went on many trips with her brother, "Buddy".

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Marion and Annie Sherman; her husband, Wilbert Falk and brother, Marion (Buddy) Sherman Jr..  Left to cherish her memories are her son, Donald; daughter, Karen (David); and granddaughter, Pamela (Dwight). Margaret's family wishes to thank the staff of The Devonshire and Autumn Care of Chesapeake for her care in her later years. Also a special thanks to the nurses and volunteer from Comfort Care hospice.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11:00 am, July 15th at First Presbyterian Church, Hampton. The family will receive friends on Friday July 14th, from 6-7:00 pm at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 514 S. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23669.
