SSgt. Marc Anthony Tinker, 31, died Friday, June 7, 2024. Born in Lompoc, CA, he has served in the US Air Force for the last 10 years. He was goofy and very funny and always enjoyed making people laugh but could be very stubborn when he wanted to be. In his younger years he enjoyed camping with his father and was looking forward to taking his family on similar camping trips. As a teenager, he enjoyed skateboarding and playing video games, which carried over into adulthood. He liked being outside, fishing and grilling.

Preceded in death by his brother, William McCrory and his grandfather, Charles Rodriguez; survivors include his wife, Hannah L. Tinker; his beloved daughter, Penelope Leigh Tinker; his mother and stepfather, Caroline and Stephen McCrory; his father and stepmother, Joaquin L. and Michelle Tinker; his sister, Katherine Tinker; his maternal grandmother, Socorro Perez; and his paternal grandparents, Charlotte Paine and Howard Tinker.

The family will receive friends from 4-6pm Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 6pm followed by full Air Force honors.
