Lt. Col. Arthur C. Morabito, US Air Force, retired, 89, died Monday, December 30, 2013. A native of Spencerport, NY, he had been a Hampton resident since 1971. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Morabito; his sister, Helen Samolio; his sons Michael and Marc Morabito; and his daughters Mary Dunne, Michelle Settle, and Marcia Scrivener. His grandchildren include Thomas Dunne, Lisa Johnson, Rita Scrivener, Danielle Settle, Grant and Madeline Morabito. He also had three great grandchildren, Rian, Ashling and Aimee.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2014 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment with full Air Force Honors will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
