Lorraine Ellen Mills, 92, a long-time resident of Hampton, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born on January 28, 1931, in Urbana, IL to the late Arthur Foster and Daisy Belle (nee Gilmer) Dyson. She served for 25 years as the secretary of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Hampton and was preceded in death by her husband Maj (ret) Harold L. Mills, and siblings Katherine Lasater, and Mabel Bourgois, and Austin A.R. Dyson.
