Lorna dela Cruz-Barrett, 53, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Born in the Philippines she had been a resident of both Maryland and Virginia finally settling in Hampton in 2011.

Lorna joins her sister, Flordeliza dela Cruz, who preceded her in death; and is survived by her son, Clarrel Pope; daughters, Clarriezzel Pope, Angela Haring, Kelsey Barrett; mother, Lilia Puyawan; sisters,  Michelle Puyawan, Jennlyn Puyawan; brothers, Ernesto dela Cruz, Eric dela Cruz, and Louie Puyawan; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
