Linda Charmaine Perkins, 59, died Saturday, February 6, 2016. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she had been a Hampton resident for the last 8 years. She was a wonderful writer and caretaker and enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaya Ali Warren; her mother, Mary Louise Perkins; two sisters, Jacqueline Perkins and Lorraine Perkins; two brothers, Darrell Perkins and Lamont Perkins; five grandchildren, Iysha Perkins, Christine Perkins, Erica Davis, Joshua Davis, and Rivion Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Isaiah Shaw, Taylor Gillis, Christian Perkins, and Kamryn Gillis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Bethany United Methodist Church by Rev. Suzanne D. Gibson.
