Obituary

Linda Rose Pearson, aged 68, passed away in her home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in Hampton, Virginia, due to complications following her battle with cancer, neuroendocrine carcinoma.  She is survived by her husband, David Norman Pearson; daughter, Melanie Parker and husband Carl; and grandchildren Esme Parker, Kelly Parker, Rose Pearson, and Patrick Pearson.  She has been reunited with her daughter, Joelle Pearson, in Heaven.
Linda was born on December 12, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She married David Pearson in 1971.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished her family.  She supported her husband's military career, and devoted her time to caring for her children, Melanie and Joelle, and then her grandchildren, Esme, Rose, Kelly, and Patrick.
A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 30, 2018, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 807 West Mercury Boulevard, Hampton, VA.  A reception will follow the memorial service. All are welcome to attend and remember Linda's life.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Paul's.
