Obituary

Leroy Franklin Moore IV, "Skipper", as everyone knew him, unexpectedly passed away February 5, 2019. Skipper was born on February 14, 1970 in Hampton, VA. He graduated from Hampton High School and attended Chowan College.

Wait, he didn't care about that stuff. Skipper was FUN..true meaning of "life of the party." Skipper loved his friends, fast cars, Bud Light (warm or cold), unplanned road trips, dogs, cooking (betcha' a lot of you didn't know that, did you?) and collecting coins with his Gigi. He absolutely loved music and jamming in his music room. He played the drums, piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, harmonica..anything he picked up.. and invited anyone to join in with him. Skipper nurtured his friendships over the years and would want to give a last shout out to his Olde Wythe Boys. WFO!!

Skip moved to Richmond almost 17 years ago and had the same amazing impact on many people there. He shared his love of cars by becoming a very successful car salesman. While in Richmond he met his bride, Ai, and they enthusiastically embraced every minute they had together.

Skipper is survived by his wife Ai Nguyen Moore, parents Janice and Lee Moore, brother Kyle Moore (Heather), nephew Kai Moore, nieces Kira Moore and Kensington Moore, stepdaughter Anh Vu and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A toast to Skipper is the only appropriate good bye so join us February 17, 4 to 7 pm at the Hampton Yacht Club.

In honor of Skip, donations may be made to Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd, Richmond, VA 23220. www.rhaydensmith.com.
