Lavona M. Parks, 78, born in Watertown NY and a longtime resident of Hampton, VA passed away peacefully Sunday, October 13, 2024 after a prolonged illness. She was a dedicated wife and mother and was an employee at Howmet (Alcoa) for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Parks Sr. She is survived by her children, Scott Parks, Kimberly Roney, Albert Parks Jr., and Leta Hatch; her 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, David Vancour and Tommy Vancour.

A graveside service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park at 11AM on Friday, October 18, 2024 followed by a Celebration of Life at Keep the Promise Ministries in Poquoson.
