Latrelle B. Dixon, 84, died Sunday, October 7, 2018. Born in Douglas, GA, Latrelle moved to the Peninsula in 1952. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and worked 27 years for Sears in the telephone sales department retiring in 1981.

Latrelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian D. McKenney in 1973, second husband, David R. Dixon Jr in 1999; and son, Julian D. McKenney, Jr. She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. McKenney (Frances); daughter, Diane McKenney Washburn; and daughter-in-law, Marie McKenney; sister, Sherall Spivey; brother, Waymond Bailey; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with interment to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church prior to the service from 1-1:30.
