Kurby Odom DeBlasio was born July 2, 1942 to Carl and Maude Odom and grew up in Fox Hill VA. In 1963 she married Duane "Skeeter" DeBlasio and had one son Darin. They resided in Hampton until 1996 when they moved to Williamsburg and then to Providence Forge Va. in 2015. Kurby's life centered on her family enjoying her cats, cooking and caring for both husband and son. Her favorite times were entertaining friends and family, and the weekend vacations at "ITSUS" the family beach cottage at Nags Head.
A memorial service at R Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton Va. will be held Saturday November 10th at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org/donate) would be appreciated.
