Kristine Anne Bowers, 71, passed away on November 21, 2017. A lifelong Hampton resident, Kristine had worked for the City of Hampton, retiring as a 311 call center customer care advocate. Kristine loved working with her hands and spent countless hours crocheting. She loved movies, and was never one to turn down black licorice jelly beans or homemade fried chicken.

Kristine was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Anthony W. Gary.

She is survived by her son, Sean Bowers; sisters, Judith G. Smith and Sharon E. Garrison; brothers, Brian C. Gary and David W. Gary; as well as a large extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 3PM.
