Kimberly "Kim" Leggett Harrell, 69, Hampton, VA passed away on January 8, 2026, at her home.  Kim worked different jobs throughout her life; 7-11, Rite-Aid, Woodland's Golf Course, and Mugler's Men's Clothing store. She was always a people person and enjoyed the company of those who could make her laugh.

Kim was a loving sister, mother, aunt, friend, and Noni.  She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, generosity, and love for her family and friends.

She is survived by brother, Kenny Leggett; sister, Lee Leggett Gear (Donald); sons, Josh Harrell and Cameron Harrell; nephews, Trevor Gear (Maranda) and Noah Gear (Maddi); niece, Samantha Leggett; and grandchildren, Cade, Allyson and Kali.

Kim will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

We would like to thank Legacy Hospice, especially Rose, her nurse, who took great care of Kim.  We would also like to thank Sentara Careplex, all the ER nurses, ER doctors, and the floor nurses for their skilled and compassionate care, whenever Kim had to be admitted. The kindness and care that was always shown to her will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, downtown Hampton.
