Kim Gilliam Stafford, 55, died Saturday, August 26, 2017. Born at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX, she was a longtime Hampton resident where she was a member of Buckroe Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with both the food pantry at the church and with children's ministries.

Preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Laity and two husbands, Windfrey Gilliam and William Stafford; survivors include her daughter, Margaret Johnson and her husband, Brian; her granddaughter, Katherine Johnson; her father and step-mother, Carroll and Roberta Laity; and three brothers, Bryan, David and Todd Laity.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Buckroe Baptist Church by Dr. William Melton.
