Kenneth George Carver, Sr., 75, died Saturday, August 6, 2022. Born in Elkins, WVA, Mr. Carver was raised  in Hampton, served in the Marine Corps and then worked for Paul's Plaster and Acoustics. He was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts Troop 127.

Mr. Carver is survived by his wife, Melody C. Carver; son Kenneth G. Carver Jr. and wife Anna; sister, Connie Carver, her husband Kyle and daughter Cassie; grandchildren, Emma, Libby, Mason and Chase; niece Corinna Laxton and her children Jessica and T.J.; nephew, Charles Carver Jr. and his wife Sara and daughter, Haley; and close family friend, Sean Pepe and wife Cara.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton by Rev. Richard Barnes.
