Kenneth R. Bailey, 86, left us on December 12, 2025, to spend eternity with the love of his life Ruby. Ken was born in South Hill, est Virginia on October 6, 1939. He enlisted in the Air Force and later landed in Hampton, Virginia where he married Ruby, and they built a life of love and happiness.

He was the owner of Viking Mechanical Contractors and was known as a fair and competent HVAC & Refrigeration Mechanic who helped others by paying it forward on several occasions. He loved spending time on his boat fishing in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay with his family and friends. Following these fishing trips, he would have cookouts where many who knew him would come and enjoy the meal and camaraderie. Later he made many new friends when he discovered the game of golf.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Bailey and his grandson Philip Brewer. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Teresa Bailey; grandson Matthew Brewer; two great granddaughters, Isabella "Bella" and Alexandria "Lexi" Brewer; and one great grandson, Noah Aleshire.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be announced at a later date.
