November 30, 1941 – October 25, 2021
Mary Katherine "Kathie" Davis, 79, died Monday, October 25, 2021. Born in Windber, PA, she had been a Hampton resident for the last 60 years. Also known as "Jingles the Clown", Kathie could be found on Tuesday nights painting faces at Chick-fil-A. A very creative person, she was a writer, painter and dancer, was a puppeteer with Rainbow Puppet Productions, and participated in Community Theater. Kathie was a very active member of Liberty Baptist Church, went on many mission trips and was very involved in the children's ministry.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Trisha Davis, her mother, Louise Bartlett, and a sister, Stephanie Kopcik; survivors include her husband, Tommy Davis; two daughters, Wendy Huff and husband, Ed and Kelly Moneymaker and husband, Jon; a son, Matthew Davis and wife, Lynn; six grandchildren, Elise, Sara, Ethan, Abram, Meadow, and Makaio; and three great-grandchildren, Everett, Aviram, and Cedar.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Liberty Baptist Church by Pastor Joe Hunt.
Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Missions ministry, 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
