Obituary
Katherine Tandy Pomeroy, 66, died Monday, November 14, 2016. Born in Borger, TX she had been a Peninsula resident for 22 years and retired from the York County Public Library.
Kay is survived by her husband Col. Terrance Raymond Pomeroy, USAF, Ret.; daughter, Brittany Elizabeth Merritt (Steve); sister, Sharon Virginia Kitowski(Kieth); brothers, Lewis Wilson Tandy(Bonnie) and Dr. Norman Edward Tandy; and granddaughter, Georgia Kay Merritt.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm, Friday, November 18, 2016 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton. Please wear your favorite color as we celebrate Kay's wonderful life.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd, Kanab, UT 84741.
