Karen P. Smith, devoted wife and mother went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2022. Born in West Virginia, Karen had settled in Hampton with her husband and their love of the beach kept them here after his retirement. She loved worshiping and serving the Lord, also being a grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Smith; daughters, Debbie Brown (Ronnie), Donna Smith Green, and DeAnna Reed (Kevin); grandchildren, Robbie Cotton, Rickie Cotton, Renee Morales, Kirsten Brown, Steven Noakes, Kara Weston (Tim), Rebekah Whetzler (Nick), and Jessica Lorton-Noakes (Ally); and her great-grandchildren, Aren Cotton, AJ Morales, RJ Cotton, Eli Morales, Sissy Cotton, Isaiah Morales, Tate Whetzler.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Waters Edge Church in Yorktown officiated by Pastor Stu Hodges.
