Karen Jameson McCoy, 44, died Sunday, February 1, 2015. A native of Scott AFB, IL, she had been a Hampton resident since 1972 and was a 1988 graduate of Bethel High School. She loved NASCAR, the beach, was a big Patriots fan, and always loved having a good time with her friends. Survivors include her parents, Marlene and Benjamin F. Jameson, Sr.; two brothers, Ronald F. Jameson and Benjamin F. Jameson, Jr.; her sister, Debra L. Dean; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
