June Iris Fryer, 92, of Hampton, VA passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandma, and great-grandma who will always be remembered for her caring nature, warm smile, and love of animals.

June was born, in Leicester, England and lived through World War II. She attended Pittman College in London. Coming to the United States as a teenager, June married and had four children. She retired from Bennett Paint Company as payroll manager. June loved going on vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC and Ocean City, MD. She loved each and every one of her little doggies that kept her company over the years.

She is survived by daughters, Karen Lawson and Denise Knox; sons Michael Fryer (Xiujun) and Stephen Fryer (Angie); four grandchildren, Heather Grubb (Jeremy), Ryan Lawson, Colton Fryer, Kate Fryer; three great-grandchildren; and many distant relatives here and in England.

June will be sadly missed by all of her family.
