October 3, 1921 – December 26, 2016
Judith L. Williams, 95, died Monday, December 26, 2016. A native of Auburn, MA, she had been a Peninsula resident since 1967 where she was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and Chapel of the Centurion at Ft. Monroe. An airline stewardess prior to getting married, she became an Army wife, supporting her husband at his various duty stations. She had volunteered her time with the American Red Cross for 42 years and was a member of the Langley Officers' Wives Club.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harry O. Williams; survivors include her three sons and one daughter; Craig H. Williams, Michael R. Williams, Gary L. Williams and Karen Williams; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
